Boutique Hotel
A few years ago I had the lovely privilege of designing the rooms at a boutique spa hotel on Tulum beach in Mexico. We went for polished concrete floors and simple concrete walls as our base to create a simple, serene, dreamy bedroom.
We used local artisans to create driftwood furniture
We sourced local antiques and vintage pieces to add character and warmth
We used wood panelling in the daybed nooks and bathrooms, a lovely backdrop for the vintage chandeliers.
